I don't know if the results of the Google search are the same all over the world. However, if you search for "Lua 2d engine" on Google Germany we got EGSL on the first place right before LÖVE.  ;D

Well ... If you search for "retro game programming language basic -blitz -dark -freebasic -yabasic -brutus2d -egsl" you'll find naalaa.com on position nine  ;D Aren't I the popular guy?

In UK LOVE is on the first place and EGSL appears only on a fifth page of search results. :( You get the same EGSL result for "pascal 2d engine".
