The third edition of "Programming in Lua" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/859037985X/lua-news-20) by Roberto Ierusalimschy has been published a couple of months ago. It covers Lua 5.2 (on which the newest version of EGSL is based) and has been written by the person who knows everything about the language - Roberto Ierusalimschy is the leading architect of Lua. Definitely something for everyone interested in programming in EGSL and Lua.
