Title: Version 1.3.1
Post by: Cybermonkey on May 18, 2014, 04:29:33 PM
Just uploaded the version 1.3.1 which is more or less a bugfixed version of 1.3. I have succesfully removed the bug which occured when one closed the window so the CMLua process still worked in the background. I also added a paint function. The download can be found as usual on the website.

Hello Cybermonkey!

When I double click on chipmonkeyLua.exe, I get a Windows error message : "Out of memory", and the interpreter doesn't open.  (It's Windows 8.1.)

Have you an idea of what happens?

Best regards.

Roland

Uh, that's weird. I still use Windows 7 and everything works fine. Is it possible to open a console (a.k.a. cmd.exe) on Windows 8.1? If so, try to start CMLua from the command line. But as I said I have no idea and since I have no Win8.1 I can't check/test/debug ...  :-\
If someone else uses Windows 8 or 8.1: Can you please test chipmonkeyLua on it? Thanks a lot.

Hey Roland, if you want to you can try this little snake clone attached to this post. It is made with FPC and uses the same technics as CMLua. Let's see if it works ...

Thank you for your answer, Cybermonkey.

I tried from the console: the result is the same.

The snake works fine.

Maybe there is no relation, but I noticed something that seemed to me weird, when I open your archive. Have a look.
