Title: BaCon 3.5 released
Post by: Tomaaz on December 01, 2016, 11:03:16 pm
Described by Peter as "the biggest update in the history of BaCon" (http://basic-converter.proboards.com/thread/885/bacon-3-5-released?page=1&scrollTo=9400), version 3.5 has been released. It comes with plenty of new functions, mostly for handling strings. You can grab it from BaCon website (http://www.basic-converter.org/).

http://www.basic-converter.org/stable/CHANGES
Code: [Select]
+-------------------------------+
| December 1, 2016 - 3.5 stable |
+-------------------------------+
- New: INBETWEEN$/OUTBETWEEN$ to get string in between/outside two delimiters (all versions - vovchik)
- New: TOKEN$ to select member of tokenized series based on delimiter (all versions - vovchik)
- New: LOAD$/SAVE/APPEND to load/save/append a file in one step to and from a variable (all versions - vovchik)
- New: TALLY to count the amount of times a string occurs (all versions - vovchik)

Looks like a good source for inspiration ;)
For example, INBETWEEN$/OUTBETWEEN$ resembles my Extract$() (http://www.webalice.it/jj2006/MasmBasicQuickReference.htm#Mb1156)
