Title: Rasberry Pi
Post by: Tomaaz on December 10, 2012, 06:25:31 PM
I've found a topic on Raspberry Pi forum (http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5148) which suggest that compiling EGSL under it should be possible. Has anyone tried to do it?

I have no Raspberry Pi and I doubt I'll ever get one. I assume a few things in different units have to be changed since the Raspberry Pi is an ARM CPU and therefore needs FPC for ARM.

I don't have Raspberry Pi myself, too. I'm asking, because I think that EGSL is a perfect software for Raspberry Pi (cool, easy to learn, not boring etc.). There are many articles about Raspberry Pi on computer magazines. You can find Python (a turtle module, Pygame) and even BASIC tutorials, so It would be nice to have EGSL on it.

If someone would like to see what Raspberry Pi is, there is a very easy to use emulator for Windows (http://sourceforge.net/projects/rpiqemuwindows/).
