There's nothing new under the sun, as Ecclesiastes tought us 5,000 years ago.

First there comes Temptation by Water: be cool-headed and competent enough to adequately formulate the task and determine a set of tools indispensable and sufficient to implement it.

Then there comes Temptation by Fire: be coherent and consistent enough to follow the trends and schedules set forth above no matter what even if you keep falling asleep and getting awake right on your workbench and your a**hole gets plugged by a spider web due to chronic starvation.

And finally, there comes Temptation by Trumpets: be intelligent enough to stay human when (and if) the above stages are over and money starts flowing in as a material manifestation of public appreciation and recognition of your success.

The freak is failing the last temptation miserably. And, as per Freud old fellow, there's always a bunch of as freaky followers that'd orgasm a half dozen times in a row as their dominatrix sh*ts on their heads and spits in their faces.

Your Maslow's pyramids are subjective. As for the character that you've chosen to illustrate your OP, I do not give a damn where he's at by his own subjective scale or pyramid. From the objective social perspective, the freak is entirely anti-social and must be treated as such. Probably thrown down the cliff by Spartan tradition as edification to others and to preclude accidental breeding.

From an objective social perspective, I'd say that accidental breeding is more popular than edification. I think population statistics will back me up.

In my perception, an "incident" is when a blondie steps on your toe with her spike heel -- painful of course but still manageable. But if she runs over you in her car, that'd be an "accident". Having, say, three Linuxes Linuses around would be a complete disaster to the image of the operating system in question.

And also, behavioral patterns tend to breed by airborne routes rather than, er, frictional mechanics. Hence Sparta and the cliff: "Volare qui potest, ne serpat" (lat.) or, by contradiction, "Those born to creep shall never fly".
