is there any technical reason why BB compiler couldnt handle both forms Atn2 and Atan2?

No.
I might add both forms of the command, that why the user has a choice to there personal favorite.

BB v0.5 compiler goes into a permanent loop when I tried to compile the attached file
I had to kill the BrowserBasic.exe process in the Task manager.
