More than likely someone got feed up with paying the bills and didn't bother to let anyone else know the site was doomed. (my guess)

Thomas was too strange to be owning URL's and controlling forums. And taking on the role of a project manager for a well known BASIC to boot. I shouldn't bitch, the US elected the Bush clan more times than I can remember.

I should probably explain that I wasn't banned by anyone. Two days before the site went off-line I banned myself, by changing my email address. I changed it to the one I was using before I was banned years ago and, probably, the old ban was reactivated.

I'm trying to get the #AllBASIC IRC channel to be more active. Garrett (Programmer's Haven forum admin) is a regular. The #ALLBASIC IRC is open to anyone interested in BASIC. Chats go off topic often depending who is participating. It's just an extended (live) collaboration option to a forum.

I think an announcement on BP.org by you (as Paul Dunn did) would result in a more positive result. Paul helps out as a SYSOP on the channel from time to time.
