Google has decided to shut down G+ for individual users next year. Myself, I've never been using it, but I know that some languages have pages there. Anyone is using it?

I have a page on there for SpecBAS, but it's not very active. I like it for the easy access to a tailored feed from sources I'm interested, but really hate the comments - on science groups, most comments devolve into conspiracy theories and quack science very quickly. So no, I'll not be that sad to see it go, but as far as I can see the only real alternative is Reddit, gawd help us.

I've never got into discussing on social networks, mail lists, irc channels or Google groups. I've also tried to use Telegram groups, but this is even more bizarre experience for me. Sometimes a couple of hundreds users discuss several topics in one long stream of messages. IMO, a well design forum is by far the best way to discuss things.
