(Another) Booty Remake

I just wanted to let you know that I am starting to program the probably biggest project with EGSL so far. It will be a remake of the C64 version of Booty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAe_IvnEpnk

It is a long time ago I worked on this. But unfortunately my partition which held the grpahics etc. was destroyed some time ago. Anyway, I am back on the project, now using Pulsar2D and FreeBASIC. Attached is a first screenshot and for reference a screenshot from the C64 version. Yes, this will be a remake of the C64 version not of the Sinclair version.

I have this on my to-do list in SpecBAS :)

But I'll be doing the Sinclair version as it was clearly superior ;)

I've never seen any of them, but I'm pretty sure the one for C64 was better. ;)

I hate C64 version..i hate C64
but i love AMIGA games  ;D ( oh i spend hours playing freakin' Lemmings2 on that comp)
this time i vote for ZX dunny  :D

and yes finally some games Cyb  ;)

So, here's the first level built with FreeBASIC. Actually it is no mock-up but drawn by the program. Next thing I have to implement is the player and of course the very bad platforms ...
(Difference: brown doors are changed to red)

Some progress, the character can now move ladders up and down and open doors. Second level implemented.

Yep, thanks. I am now trying to implement those platforms. I am a bit stuck now but I think I'll make it ...  ;)

What I didn't know: there have been versions for Amstrad CPC and Commodore Plus/4 or C16/C166, too.
