Btw B+ I haven't forgotten the high/low game in C. I have a program written out but it has a bug and I haven't had time to fix it (I'm procrastinating doing this whilst preparing for a presentation at work tomorrow  )

If I remember correctly, Markus Hoffman (the author of X-11 Basic) was active on basicprogramming forum. His username was kollo. And AIR was always happy to talk Python and other languages.

The language is a "no freak out" language, so you can put the programming possibility into the hands of users who would not ever touch Python, Groovy or some other programming language.

That's correct, who on earth and where E.K.Virtanen is, I don't know or really care.

My message was not about "EK" but about the other subject in the sentence — Peter Verhas, a well known language developer and not just a "varhas from GIT" whatever that's supposed to mean. I was just making people aware of him and his another first-class BASIC product just in case somebody, e.g. an "awerel from BP", might've missed it.

I saw Verhas mentioned and thought it would be worthwhile to note he's still a BASIC-er despite his having moved over to Java. OK I agree it was probably not the best thread to mention it but there's enough flood in almost every topic here, so I thought my very short message wouldn't be too much to spoil the overall picture.
